Leysin, the Berneuse and Kuklos

The route

The Tours d'Aï in sight

The climb to the Berneuse follows the road too often for trail lovers like us; we understand why everyone does the reverse and walks down. But up top, the Tours d'Aï, the little lake at the foot of the cliffs and the stone chalets save the day.

A paraglider floats above Lake Geneva, a lone tree poses before the peaks. Next year we'll start from the top of the gondola instead, towards the Tours d'Aï, in search of narrow paths and wild mountain.
