Forest, gorges and chains

The cool forest and its mist, treacherous roots, fly agarics and boletes by the path, then a canyoning river that we follow up along the hillside, in a deep, steep-sided valley.

The path gains height, the view opens up, an airy section with chains reminds us we came for a bit of adventure. At La Creusaz, above a sea of clouds, more than eight hundred metres of climbing that come more and more easily.
